I suppose introductions are in order. My name is Christian Damian, and I have lived for 28 years. My friends Call Me Damian. I was born in North Fork, a little mountain town an hour and a half up the mountain from Fresno, California. My Father and I moved to Boise, Idaho when I was 16 months old after he and my Mother divorced. I grew up in a single-wide trailer at the Blue Heaven trailer park on the edge of town. As I'm sure you'd agree, Life has provided many lessons to teach in such a short time; I'm excited to share what I've learned through my journey. In my Father's household growing up, money was tight. It was imperative that I very quickly learn how to be efficient with my most valuable three currencies; time, energy, and money.

I'd like to share three very important words with you: Return On Investment. When time is your enemy, energy is scarce, and money beyond your reach, mastering your R.O.I. is the first step towards reclaiming your power. I earned my first job with Wilson's Leather selling leather jackets, purses and accessories at the ripe age of 15 years old. This enabled me to earn money and buy food to increase my energy, however, my time was not yet my own. I had to keep going. I further leveraged my time by seizing a second job at Burger King, and between my two jobs, I focused on sharpening my sales and customer service skills.

Gainful employment was the smartest move on the chess board; High R.O.I. Juggling high school, being a human, and two jobs was no easy task. Time and Energy were dangerously low, but for the first time in my life, Money was slowly on the rise. During those early days, I learned another valuable lesson: that which consumes Energy provides Energy. This lesson applies to all three currencies; in order to make money, you have to spend money (advertising/marketing), and in order to make time, you have to sacrifice time (opportunity cost). I gave up the opportunities of sports, extra curricular activities and casual habits my peers carried in order to create the opportunities that would change my situation.

I became addicted. Escaping my reality to create a better one proved a very lucrative pattern. Years passed within that shadow as I carved "Damian" out of "Christian." I made baby steps, then leaps, and then strides towards the man that stands before you today. There are many more lessons to share, which I'm proud and grateful to be able to immortalize with you in these words, through these blogs. From Advertising to Self-Improvement, from soft skills to hard talents, and everything in-between...

Stay Tuned.
